This car is still a work in progress so the lights are not all adjusted yet for final assembly. There was no cutting the actual width of the 2024 tail lights. They come in 3 separate sections and when put together the width is near perfect fit on 70 - 74 challenger.

Actually once I cut out the rusty tail panel and trimmed it to fit, it kind of fit right into place. I did fabricate the backing plate to bolt it in. Was easier than you might think

1. Screw that holds the front slider in place. See pic 1
2 entire rear slider, slides inside track and bolts to rear of glass, pic 2
3 bolts and hardware that holds the horizontal slide to door glass, pic 3

So the existing hose in the photo I posted connects the ports at the back of the engine to a port at the front of the engine, does that stay connected as in the photo I posted?

Well anyone considering Doug’s headers, forget about it. The drivers side does not clear the torsion bar by about 2”. I emails Doug’s, showed them the issue, they said they would check with their engineers to see why it doesn’t clear. That was 3 weeks ago, no word back.

I am working on restoring my 71 challenger and see I am missing a panel that goes above the grill and spans to both left and right fenders. It acts as a cover plate more or less. Can anyone tell me what this is called and where I might find one, new or used is ok.
