do I combine those two on the Ididit wire side into the original plug. That is what we think is correct, but I don't want to harm my under-dash harness. I've been very careful about my wiring situation since I bought the car. Basically replacing all wiring in the car because of the...
You might check out my questions about wiring up an older Ididit wiring question to tying to the under dash plug in for the steering wheel. Two Plugs originally into the original wiring but the adaptor got lost and I have to widdle myself the main wiring plug in using the old column dash wiring.
Below is a wiring diagram for Ididit I've been able to put together based on using my original plug into my console wiring harness. Could someone validate this is correct. I'm looking for validation of the question mark line in particular. I want to be sure I'm wiring correctly before I'm too...
This makes sense given my connectors. Did you insert the plugs that came with the kit or connect the wires manually. Were is this in relation to the wiring harness or fuse box? By my question you can tell if it isn't plug into a similar input I quickly get lossed.
Forgot to ask how you solved the problem. Their module uses slots and the harness needs a female plug to work. Are there other places to put the wires with the slots?
I have the same problem. Can't find an adaptor for the module they sent for my under dash and they say my model requires an adaptor they no longer have. I'd like the use the under dash plug.
I was driving to my doctor in seattle and drove behind a cuda. I was admiring his vehicle and enjoy seeing it on the road. Being so close I look forward to cruising in it no matter what gas costs at this point. I figure I only have a few years left to drive it since the quality of gas is...
I am in the process of connection harness for electronic ignition on my engine. I have six wires I need assistance with. One group goes I believe to the alternator and the other to the coil. the first I believe go to the alternator and are blue, gray and blue/orange. The second group are...
On my fourth throttle bracket. Spending about the same amount for the part as shipping these days. Bent the latest one from 45% to 90% where it attaches to the manifold. Going to cut off the extra metal and drill holes closer to the bend. Think that will work for the kick down linkage. Just...
I've cleaned up the old one which appears to be usable. Have bought a new original but don't expect it to arrive before I'm ready to start the engine. If the new one comes before I try starting the engine I'll just put that in but I think we will put the hot water lines in today. Got the...
Like the last time I replaced it I just want to have a functioning ac/heater valve to use with my air-conditioning. I bought the car in 1994 and the air conditioning didn't work. Being a convertible I drove during the summer I didn't care. Now I'm trying to get the air conditioning working...
I currently have an old style ac heater control valve which is all metal. It has sat for over twenty two years without any water in the part. The interior looks some what rusty. It took me three years to find the part when the car was running. Finally around 1999 I bought the part thru year...
AA Transmission has a several month back log so Im in the que. I have a high rise hemi four barrel manifold so the Hemi bracket doesn't work. Ordered a high rise bracket and hope that can tie to my manifold. Other wise will have to come up with some modifications to align what I have.
i had my car at a shop for a long time. The pulled most the wiring in the car which is no big deal. After twenty two years of sitting a new wiring harness won't hurt a thing with a new engine/transmission. I was looking at the wiring harness and didn't notice a plug that looked like it would...
I tried to order the whole assembly from AA transmission. They called today to let me that part is on back order and no expectation on when delivery will be. Bought the hemi bracket from classic this morning and will see what I can cobble together with the 440 assembly.
Thank you for the images. I went with a 850 cfm holley so I don't have the dual carb thing going on. Less work getting things to work in synch. Had a dual carb setup originally but the mechanic building the engine talked me out of it. I want a consistent running car that is very dependable...
