    Clutch fan storage

Is there a specific way to store the original clutch fan? I thought I remembered seeing something here that said placing it a certain way, but could not find during a search. Thanks in advance.

    Car cover options

My 73 Challenger stays in the garage and has been covered with a car cover that served me well (don't know what brand) to keep the dust off it while parked. It is time to replace it. Any recommendations? This is only for inside protection, never outside.

Missing one of the nuts that secure the Challenger emblem on the front grille. Anyone know where I can pick one up?

    Thermoquad questions

I have two TQ's. One is a 6166S for a 1972 400 Automatic (currently on my car) and the other is a 6321S for a 73 400 HP automatic that has the altitude compensating diaphragm for the vacuum advance. I have a chance to pick up another "parts" carb that is a 9096 which came out of a 1977 440 truck...

    Starter relay problem

I bought a new starter relay a couple years back. Only started the car a dozen(ish) times since install. Now you have to manually wiggle one of the wires/connections to get it to start. No corrosion, the connector into the relay is loose. Are these prone to crap out frequently? I just bought a...

    Firing un-order?

Pulled the plugs and noticed that 1,8,4,3 where tan-ish. Plugs 6,5,7,2 were clean as a whistle. Same goes for the exhaust ports and tops of pistons. Thought the carb primary on one side of the dual plane intake was set bad and caused this, but that's not how the ports are separated. Then I...

    904 w/ a gearvenders

Anyone know a good source for 904 with a gearvenders overdrive? I promise I will not hammer this 340 with 10.5 comp and 3.91 gears and blow it up!

    Setting valves

I am re-setting the valves after initial break-in and after checking that the heads are still torqued properly. It has a hydraulic lifter cam. I am tightening the lash to zero on all the valves and then will do a 3/4 turn down. This setting is supposed to be done when there is no oil in the...

    Valve cover options

So, I had my original valve covers on the 340 for first start up (on right). Removed them to re-torque the heads (didn't need it, all stayed put) and reset the valves (not done yet). My buddy said these valve cover gaskets are the best thing since sliced bread, and I believe they are based on...

WTB Angle brackets needed for fender to headlight header panel for 72-74 Challenger

I need two of these brackets. I have the fasteners. It's on 72-74 Challengers. I have not been able to find any repops so I assume I need them off a donor car.

    Carlisle 2023

Hot and humid, but worth the experience. Never seen so many E Bodies and wing cars in one place, EVER. Got to spend some time with another FEBO member and his son. Great, very nice people. And I did see Linda Vaughn and a Sox and Martin car, both still smokin' hot after all these years. Cheers!

Off to storage for a while

Just about finished our move to Nampa, Idaho out of California. Had to put the girl in storage for a few weeks. Finished the ground up restoration just in time, but not comfortable driving it 8 hours yet.

    Front seat hinge cover "nut"?

Anyone know where I can find the plastic pieces (white nuts) that snap in the bucket seat hinges that holds the screws in place of the hinge covers?

    Brake pedal wires

There are two wires that go to the brake pedal switch. It's not clear on the wiring diagram which color/one goes where. Does it matter? If so, which one goes towards the front and which one goes towards the rear? Thanks in advance. So close, I can taste it!
