    Brake Pedal

Thank you so much, MoparCarGuy, for taking the time to send the pictures, explanation and parts diagram. I'll check out the linkage sources.

    Brake Pedal

Hi Friends: Does anyone know if there is a different brake pedal for manual brakes than for power brakes? Ever since we rebuilt the 1970 Challenger the brake pedal is way too high, much higher than the clutch pedal. I believe the car originally had manual brakes. Now with the power brake...

    Rallye dash not working

I had a similar issue. Checked all the difficult stuff first. From time to time I would lose signal lights etc. along with gauges. Turned out to be a corroded fuse holder. Clean holders, check fuses, then dab dielectric grease on the holder prongs. Have a look at the simple things first...

What brand of trim ring fits a Mopar Rally rim best?

You might ask the folks at Coker Tire for advise. We bought road wheels and beauty rings for the Challenger restoration a few years back from Coker and all fit well.

    Painting order...fender wells coating...71C

I bought our '70 Cuda new in Sept. 1970 when I had just turned 21. During the last 4 or 5 years I have begun removing the Ziebart undercoat a section at a time each winter and repainting the factory colour. The car was never winter driven, so the Ziebart was a huge mistake. I am sending these...

    Rallye dash question

Here are both panels. I have had each in our '70 Cuda at one time or another.

    oil in clutch area

I feel your pain Lee. Our 1970 Challenger 440 went through a similar series of griefs. Two clutch and pressure plates later, the gremlin was, after all, the rear main seal, twice. Ended up with a new center force clutch about a year and a half ago. So far, so good. Best wishes of a...

    Hello New Friends

Thank you for the welcome. We both are fortunate to be at home in both the Plymouth and Dodge camps.

    Hello New Friends

Thanks for the welcome Lee. As far as decisions, if it is a short run like a local show and shine we take the Cuda because the untouched 340 does not like 91 pump gas and we have to use whatever form of octane booster we can get our hands on. The Challenger goes if the forecast says sunny for...

    Hello New Friends

That's cool - coast-to-coast Mopars. Great to be part of the FEBO family. Your garage looks big enough to cruise around in on rainy days. OK: The Challenger conv. has a 440 bored 30 over, A833 18 spline 4 spd., center force clutch, not numbers matching. Started with 3.91 rear but went to...

    Hello New Friends

Quick intro: Bought the Cuda new in 1970. Bought the Challenger in early 80s, full rotisserie restoration in 2012 to 2016. Great to be in touch with fellow Mopar junkies.
