    distributor oil leak

Hi everyone I have a mopar performance distributor, the Mallory built one that is leaking oil out of the vent holes. Took the distributor apart and can't see anything obvious except that the drain holes are completely open at the bottom. Anyone else ran into this problem before? Thanks

440 oil pan clearance issues with ARP studs

If I remember correctly, if any hammering has to be done it will be on the windage tray. If the engine is not assembled I would machine a little off the studs, I'm not a big fan of hammering to make room if possible.

440 oil pan clearance issues with ARP studs

I had the same problem, but I used a windage tray and two gaskets it just fits. I talked to the machine shop that supplied the parts, he would have machined the top of the studs off but the windage tray worked.

    Help me with engine choices

If you want to run high rpm's for long periods I would run a small block. Building a 400 could be a choice since it has the same crank as a 383, so basically you are building a large version of a 383 especially if you bore the 400 out .030 over. They can make some pretty good power without...

    70 challenger bending frame rails

I would build a jig using the frame dimension's from the service manual, put your car on it before you do anything else. Get it back into place and check to make sure everything lines up, like fenders, doors, hood, etc. Then brace your car before cutting any frame rails out. (my opinion)

    ignition module

Thank you for your input Yes I have heard this about the pick up not being able to trigger the module. The information that I have read contributes the problem to the low quality of parts being manufactured in china. With that being said I will take it one step at a time and see if this will...

    ignition module

HI all I have a few days off work so id thought I would try to build a new ignition module from an old mopar box and add a performance gm HEI module inside. Why you might ask, well there a few reasons. One I've heard that the new orange boxes are not very good, and the gm HEI can take more...

1970 dodge challenger front frame rail replacement

HI I would build a jig to hold the car in place and together, take a lot of measurements and pics before you start cutting it apart. Mine had a lot of rust and was hit in the passenger side. Had to replace the passenger side frame rail as well. Hope this helps
