I have a Racer Brown ST21 Cam and solid lifters for sale. Pulled them from my 340, lifters are bagged and tagged for proper replacement to lobes. $120 obo, buyer to pay shipping. Cam info in photo
I’m having trouble with my passenger fender for my 72 challenger. It’s a used fender that overall is in great shape, but... when bolting the fender up, the bottom takes quite a bit of force to bolt up. Attached are photos of it bolted at the top, not at bottom. Also photos of a straight edge...
Bought these heads for my 340, found out after magging that the U head has some cracks that I really don’t want to mess with. The X head is crack free. Both are 2.02/1.60 valves. Again, U head has some cracks between valves and between plug and valve. Make me an offer! Buyer will of course pay...
Looking to purchase a good set of 340 X, J, or U heads with the 2.02 valve set up. No cracks, already got burned on one set. Located in Northern California.
Ok so I think I got it figured out! If you can notice, the bend at the flange has a highly spot like the stamping wasn’t crisp. Now, lightly hammer the crease tighter?
Well it’s on a truck headed to the frame shop. Got it up on jack stands and started pulling measurements the passenger frame rail is 1” high and 1/2” toward the driver rail. Should be back home in a couple days.
Ok so I started messing with the fender today. Knocked some dents out, cut out warped pieces and will be straightening and welding back in. What I have now found is the rail that the fender bolts to on top of the inner fender is curved. Driver side, laser straight.
I ordered a meta shrinker/stretcher which someone recommended to increase the amount of curve in the panel, but your way may work better. Might save me $150 too
