Guessing that epoxy or ? would be easy to remove with a pick without removing anything. Clean /vacuum it and the nipple that goes in there is a light press fit so I used a dab of sealer and works great. Then you have a stock setup like this. Andy

I have 1 brown and 1 black in mine and from a very slow roll, mashing it hard I can still feel a little hesitation after initially taking off. A normal roll and flooring it, it doesn't hesitate. Even a cold or warm day makes a difference. Andy

Well I wound up contacting Brewer's and he fixed me up with the complete assembly unique for this 340. For those interested the 440 six bbl currently in the car is coming out and the original 340 six bbl is going in an AAR Cuda this weekend. Andy
