Hello Mike,
I bought two new fenders for my '70 T/A and then my body man told me he went and got some used fenders from a 70' R/T in NC. I'd be willing to sell them if you wnat them; they are in Panama City, FL, so don't know what shipping will be like...let me know if I can help out...FLpenguin...
I'm in Tallahassee; have you got some pics? I would like to ahve them direct shipped to my resto guy in Panama City where the car is....Might be better if we spoke on the phone? Marty 850-556-2192
Hello Again,
Seems that my resto guy recently found out that the fenders that came with my car have the headlight buckets missing (set up for drag racing I guess?!). So, now, in addition to the T/A trunk lid I'm looking for, I need both side fenders. Help, please! I will pay shipping...
Trying to move forward with my T/A that's been sitting for years....last body part needed is a trunk lid (with cutouts) and the hinges/springs/brackets for it. If you have something for me, PLEASE let me know! I am in Tallahassee, FL, so I know shipping will be costly, but I really would like...
Thanks everyone for the insights...I hope to be on here more frequently after I make a decision, especially with Grady Cain, as I see your avatar has a T/A, so you might have to be a resource for me in putting her back together. Of course (hint, hint) if anyone wants to jump on in to another...
You are probably right..but doesn't that guy on "Graveyard Carz" (Richard Rawlings?) claim to be a Mopar guru of sorts? (I know..everyone give an eye roll and say under your breath, 'Yeah, me too!')
lol..I guess that is somewhat of an oxymoron ("reputable TV show")! I did some research and found a shop in Wisconsin (MCR) that sounded good on the surface, but after calling them, they want $500 up front "to be placed on our waiting list," and then six months wait on the "waiting list," and...
Actually, I'm not that bad into it overall; there just aren't a lot of shops around here that I would trust to finish the car the way it should be done. I would be willing to haul it someplace reputable.
Sorry for being a long-time "lurker," but finally decided for this new year I want to go ahead and finish the restoration of my T/A (hemi orange, auto, black vinyl top) before I croak...I have all the parts for the car and most of the restoration has been completed (engine, suspension, dash...
Long story short, I ended up with someone else's 727 out of his 1970 340 Cuda, and I am trying to do the right thing and get it back to him....But I need one to replace it: 1970 727 for 340 6-pak (T/A), Part#3410769L......Doesn't need to be redone/rebuilt but that's a plus. Please let me know if...
