    70 Challenger 440 727 Shift Points

I have a 70 Challenger 440 with it’s original 727 3410670 auto. The shift points from first to second to third are extremely quick. I adjusted the linkage at the carb and now first to second is perfect. However, second to third remains too quick. Is there a separate adjustment that allows one to...

Kelsey FR70-14 Goodyear Polyglas Radial Tires

I bought them direct from Kelsey Tire. I pestered John Kelsey for nearly a year after seeing them at SEMA. It took that long for them to finish testing, certification, and production start. They use a representative named Rusty Small as a distributor. He frequently advertises on several of...

Kelsey FR70-14 Goodyear Polyglas Radial Tires

Here's a better image that shows the side wall and tread. I paid $1141.50 for a set of 4 shipping included. I then paid another $120 to have all 4 mounted and balanced. Thankfully, I was able to sell the 4 bias-ply tires that I removed to help offset some of the cost of the new radial tires...

Kelsey FR70-14 Goodyear Polyglas Radial Tires

I purchased a set of the new Kelsey FR70-14 Goodyear Polyglas Radial tires for my 70 Challenger convertible. I've always run bias-ply tires on the car to get the right look. With the bias-ply tires the ride was poor. I felt every road flaw. I think I could feel a cricket I ran over. I saw...

70 Challenger Power Drum Brake Master Cylinder Help

I may have incorrectly concluded that my master had been replaced. There's no evidence that any of the fasteners have ever been touched. After lightly cleaning the rust off the bottom there are casting numbers present.

70 Challenger Power Drum Brake Master Cylinder Help

All 70 Challenger power drum brake master cylinder help. My original master cylinder was replaced by a previous owner. It has a bail holding the cap and the housing has no casting or stamped numbers. I'd like to hunt down an original master cylinder. I believe my original should have casting...

    Flip top gas cap install

Got it installed. Curious about one thing. Do the non-CA 70 Challengers use a non-vented gas cap? thanks

    Flip top gas cap install

New to the board. Came across this discussion. My car is not currently available. Just to clarify. If the Challenger didn't come with the flip top cap and one wants to install one do the four screw holes need to be drilled or are they already in place and just not used? thanks Dereck
