I ran into the same issue with the aftermarket valve. Bent a new loop in the wire and trimmed the excess. Works fine.

Out of curiosity I checked the manual for my ‘70. There is a note indicating an additional quart should be added when changing the filter for a total of 7.

My factory bench seat car has the plates also.

Also IIRC regarding the interlock, there are two small slots/notches on the underside of the housing and collar that need to be aligned to remove the key. The collar can be rotated to the right position.

I recently installed mass-backed ACC loop style in my Challenger. The backing adds insulation and is molded it fit in the floor pan. Looks great. RockAuto has good prices. I also used Dynamat for sound deadening and insulation. I’m happy with the results.

Turned out to be a bad turn signal flasher. Much easier to access than I thought. Both flashers are two-pronged, however the emergency flasher has three wires on the plug, two going to one lug.
