This is my baby that I've been working on for a very long time. I'm new to the site, has anyone ever changed a power regulator spring without removing the regulator from the door?? Any info would be great.

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking ride.

Some of my most frustrating memories are those around R&R the power window regulators. But I don't recall making this specific repair.

You may need to disconnect the regulator to move the spring to an opening for service, anyway. And at that point, it may be easier to pull it out for repair.

Welcome aboard! I just joined myself.

Regarding your regulator spring, if you're like me with huge sausage fingers, you're better off removing the whole assembly, replacing the spring and putting it back in. I think the made the access openings for a skinny 10 year old. :)

As an Imperial guy who happens to have a Challenger I will tell you that removing that regulator is necessary.
