1971 Challenger tail light bezel stud delete?

I have 2 sets of tail light bezels for my 71. Identical part nos.. Lower outer stud not used on one set. 71 tail light panel has no hole for the lower/outer stud. Is this a year thing?

Considering ‘71 is all one year only I’m thinking no.

Have you seen the bezels with the lower outer stud deleted?

Both of my 71's have all the studs and all of the mounting holes. That one lower stud looks like it is broken off.
