And you did it. very creative. and well thought out.sometimes it can be difficult to pull this kind of thing off. very, very cool!

Thanks, We had the door handles painted to match the billboard so they will blend in with the paint. We just need to install them.

We are keeping the wheels. They are American Racing with Nitto tires. The car is not a numbers matching and this car is really my wife's. The color is Pavo Purple Glamor, from the house of kolor. The reason for this color is that was the only color close to the color used for people with CF. Our son has CF and she wanted to make it a tribute for CF. We are making the car the way he wants it due to his short life span. He may only have two years left to live, so we are trying to get the car together so he can enjoy it for a while.

Wow, ditto! The car is beautiful and the sentiment is priceless. Keep us in the loop with the car and the story behind it if you would.
Prayers from the Motor City for you guys.

Make a list of some of the parts you still need. Maybe some of us here on FEBO can donate a few goodies to help your finish build sooner. Your family is in our prayers too. God bless your family. :angel5:

Thanks for info and offer for help. I will make a list of needed items. The list will be small due to having most of the items to complete the project.

Wow, taken from excitement to serious in an instant...
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Nice car (and color choice). Will be watching your progress. Inspirational motivation to say the least.

I have a similar story. Friend only, so I can only imagine.
Years ago my wife was volunteering at a local hospital and became friends with a 15 year old boy with MD. She met him while providing the physical therapy. He was already hospital and wheelchair bound and has since past. Every week or two his mother would let us "steal" him for a few hours and take him out in our 68 Mustang. A few burnouts, doughnuts and local driving was tremendously helpful. It gave him something to look forward to.

Get it done and enjoy all the minutes, hours, days together.

mike.

Just an update on our son and cuda. Our son just recieved a double lung transplant September 4th and everything looks good. He is able to walk a 1000 feet without loosing his breath. As for as the Cuda we are down to the finish line on it. We have the headliner to install and the side windows. Looking forward to getting the boy home and having the car done.
