Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has a pair of grill inserts for a 1971 dodge Challenger. Worst case scenario, I dont particularly mind if they're in very beat up condition as long as they're whole and not broken into pieces. I also dont mind if there are cracks or some of the mounting screw holes(that mount them to the grill itself) are damaged or broken. As long there is at least one that is fine, I believe i can work around that. Ive been waiting for a reproduction grill from classic industries/oer, and only recently did I realize those inserts were removable so I figured I could at least get a pair in the mean time so i can have a proper front end to my car until that reproduction starts being sent out which, after waiting 2 years, could be a year or could be 3 more years, who knows. Plus Im figuring I could potentially 3d scan the inserts and maybe i can recreate them in autocad to make some decent reproductions out of ASA.

So if anyone can help out, I would very much so greatly appreciate it! I included a pic i found online of the inserts in question.

Figured I would add some updates on here. I got yours so far and I ended up having to paint it with some acrylic paint for longer term 3D scanning test(the acrylic paint can easily be cleaned off by washing with water), and i was able to create a fairly decent 3d model of it. The easy part was fixing the broken mounting tabs by duplicating existing tabs through blender. The hard part right now has been smoothing the mesh model out before i start messing with it in fusion to prepare it further before exporting to get sliced up and printed out. If this works out, i could make a proper driver side grill insert reproduction
Just the one. Message me to discuss.
