Helping a friend out. I can get more pics if someone is serious. Currently getting paperwork done and just getting potential buy lined up when it’s ready to go. Should be done by end of December. 1971 Barracuda 318 auto convertible that was a clean body and put into restoration on rotisserie, assembled to a roller and has just sat since I believe 1990’s. Has all the parts and even a 440 Engine, Rallye gauges, bucket seats, full top assembly and much more parts. Everything is there, and it’s apart enough that if someone wanted to repaint it another color or install diffrent drivetrain, it’s at that spot. He is asking $68k and has no interest in trades. Car is located in San Jose, CA area and can be view with appointment.

The car is listed on Facebook for $60,000 right now

Is the shaker hood an original? Does he have the other shaker components to go with it?

Not sure if the hood is original or repro. It was painted in 1997 by Aloha before AMD made the repro’s. It’s possible that it’s SixPack Performance hood from back in the day as they made shakers from stock hoods. No other shaker parts are available. He never got around to getting them. Luckily they make all the parts now, so it’s not hard to do like it was30 years ago.

Cool, thanks for the info. He said his son had it on there prior to contacting me, but didn’t know to reply to people and the constant offers to trade clapped out chevies and vw’s kind of was a turn off. Appreciate the link.

Might have two potential buyers. Will know in December when he is ready to show it. Will add more pics when I get a chance to go over and see it again.

More pics. Here are parts included. Has a front rubber bumper. Might have to look and see if a chrome rear bumper. No windshield, but the other convertible glass is there. Has both rear seat frames.

Body is very, very nice. Underside was media blasted and primered. Has mild surface rust, will clean up with chemical solvent.

Body is very straight and all the interior panels are off if someone wants to do a proper inspection. Engine is dated 1969 e-code 440 forged crank.
