I emailed Mancini Racing but did not get a response...Looking for some explanation in the differences in the following parts, the descriptions don't help out that much. Also why does one go up to 71 but the other two don't? Coating may be different along with possibly the pentastar stamped on some of them.

Item #: MRE2926105 - $219.99 - Fits 1968-70 340 engines, Driver Side

Item #: MRE2926105A - $269.00 - Fits 1968-71 340 Driver Side

Item #: MRE340SHIELD - $325.99 - Fits 1968-70 340 engines, Driver Side

#6105 appears to be the "base" shield - no part #'s or Pentastar stamped on it.

#6105A same as above - just has the number stamped
Both above are the new reproductions -

The black I think is the old part # that had been previously discontinued? But I'm not sure. The fit is the same 68-71

There is another vendor for these (no part #, and cheaper): www.resto-nerd.com $203.00 I just bought two to have spares.

Thanks for the resto nerd lead. Looks like another good option, and a few dollars cheaper too.

Comparison of different exhaust manifold gaskets. Ended up getting the new one from Mancini since Restonerd was out at the time of the order.

Original - 5 1/4 oz - 0.018" thick
NOS 2946105 - 5 3/4 oz - 0.018" thick
Mancini - 7 1/4 oz - 0.022" thick

The Mancini and Restonerd looks very similar from the online photos. I opted not to get the Pentastar stamp on the gasket to save a few bucks. With the silver plating on it, not sure how how well the engine paint will stick. The Mancini ones just feel better in the hand and stiffer than the NOS one I have.
