Average cost? don't know, but they are expensive. Since it's not going to be numbers matching why not go with a newer Perf block, better than an unknown history, 45 yr old block.

Summit sells the mopar performance 340 6 pack complete for 12k

4 K for a long block taken apart or together.

If it was a runner when pulled, 10K.

If your aar vin match's the aar block, then the price goes up yet again.
