Yeah they want more than Brewster’s restored onescheck ebay?
I’m hoping I can find a good used setup at a fair price that I can restore. Although I might break down and just buy the reproduction coversion kit. I’m not going to pay the crazy price some guys are asking for ones that you still have to restoreUnless you find a good deal or need to have an original set, I think the reproduction sets are the best deal. Several sources online and on ebay all look pretty much the same. They would use the frame from the automatic and add the needed parts, pretty much like the originals did. If you will run an original style three finger clutch, you need the over-center spring.

I'm in the same boat. The repro will work fine for me, but if I can find a deal on an original set, I'll go that way.I’m hoping I can find a good used setup at a fair price that I can restore. Well I got lucky and found a very nice refurbished setup, it’s missing the return spring as it was used with a hydraulic clutch previously. $100 US plus shipping, so all said and done it cost me $220 Canadian.I'm in the same boat.
