I can see 425492 in the above body stamp.

Heck, no engine and transmission, you can put whatever you want in there! I'm partial to big blocks myself, but modern Gen III Hemis get my vote as well! That being said, the Mopar small block is pretty awesome too!

My opinion, slant six numbers matching is great, otherwise V8!!

I would have to go with the 9 as well. Possible miss-stamping slightly? Double stamp? Minimal issue.

i agree. i have a 70 road runner and the engine code showed on the title to be a m code but everything else showed it to be n code which it was .
traced it back all the way to the first owner transfer and found there was a clerical error when it sold brand new. the new car dealership typed it it wrong and it stayed there its whole life
dmv was very good about issuing a new title to make the correction but they always say don't make mistakes!! lol still have the car today!
