Is the 70 challenger and barracuda quarter glass frame and molding the same?

No,... different.
Angle, chrome length, up stop missing.

The one on the left is for 70 challenger (one year only)
The one on the right is for 71-74 barracuda.
Any way I was thinking that the frame and the vertical molding is the same on 1970 challenger and barracuda.

Just for you, i went and got a 70 barra to compare.
Now, were you just going to swap the 70 style chrome over to your glass?

The 71 up style has extra webbing that could probably be removed, the you could screw the lower attachment on.
