70 Challenger rear seat

HI All

I have a problem that I hope someone can help me. The back of the rear seat has two bolts that hold it in place at the bottom. Can someone please tell me what kind of bolt goes there, I have tried just about every kind of bolt available and they will not thread in. Any info would be very much appreciated. Even pics would help to see what they look like.

its a VERY coursre threaded sheet metal screw with a large fender type washer on it about 3/4 to 1" long the washer is apx 1" OD

I believe it is a #12 sheet metal screw, possibly a #14, but not 1/4 inch...
