70 Challenger Restomod begins

Getting her done. If that is a reproduction fender, how was the fit?
It is a AMD fender, needed a little massage to the body line but I thjink it may have been a return at Classic Industries as it had some surface rust on it as well. But the massage was no. more than normal on reproduction parts from my experience.

Getting her back together, the gold pearl is really obvious under the light ,, this week hopefully I can start installing the interior

Nice! Do you own the body shop? Or do you have something on them?
I don't own the shop. I dont have anything on them. Just a good guy that works with the classic car guys. I did trade him a 67 Belvedere II for this project so he has some skin in the game so to speak. He is doing me a solid by getting it in and out fast for me. I will probably pay for that ont he next project LOL....

Ok been couple weeks since I posed anything. Reason is I was not satisfied with the repairs after the accident so I decided to redo the paint. I disassembled the exterior, and have the shop doing a much better alignment and repairs that I was not satisfied with. They started this week and expectation is to get it back painted, cut and buffed by May 15. Then assemble a second time. Stay tuned.
