Rare 1970 Plymouth Barracuda Grand Coupe 383 Auto with Air Car. VIN is as follows BP23NOBxxxxx, with matching door tag dated 11-1969 and radiator core support BO 198105. Engine block is stamped 12-20-67, with the following casting # 2468130-12.
This rare find is a restoration project that is extremely solid and is mostly complete, just missing the following items: Grille, radiator, battery, air cleaner, fender tag, windshield, front bucket seats, center counsel, head liner, tail lights, and rear valance. Needs a floor pan, trunk pan, and lower quarter on driver side. Along with a little rust through around rear window and trunk lid. Solid frame rails, rockers and doors.

Even has all the original wheels, trim rings, center caps rocker moldings and wheel moldings. The 383 motor is unaltered and includes the original carb, intake manifold and exhaust manifolds, it even has all original air-conditioning compressor condenser and lines. This is truly a rare find and is as solid as E-Body's come. Clear Title with keys.

Engine Block Numbers

Those translate to 383 engine block. If that block is dated 1967 it is not the original engine to the car. Are you sure it says 1967 it should be dated sometime within a few months before November of 1969 if its the original. Check the numbers on the pad on the middle of passenger side just above the oil gasket.

Can anyone give me advise on what to list my 70 Barracuda Gran Coupe for, I have been getting texted from craigslist saying it is priced to high? It is an original 383 air car listed above, I have lowered the price to $8,750 I think that is a steal!

That's a decent price that you have dropped down to.
Just keep holding on until it sells.
Not having the fender tag makes a huge difference to some people.
I suggest checking behind the seats for the broadcast sheet. Finding that would change the fender tag opinion of many folks.
Still not the best economy either.

Thanks for the reply, I pulled the rear seats and had no luck with the broadcast sheet, I'm guessing it might have been in the front buckets that were stolen along with the fender tag, dam the luck!

Because I own 2 other muscle cars that are drivers and I don't have the room for a 3rd one.

Well, that's cool that you got the car after ten years of trying.

When you looked behind the rear seat, did you happen to look under the lower part of the rear seat? I've seen build sheets there before.
