72 bumper brackets for a 73?

Will the earlier bumper brackets bolt up to the 73-74 bumpers? Will they pull the bumpers a bit closer to the body like the earlier ones did?

You don’t need the bumper brackets from a 72 to move the bumper closer to the body. The holes are actually there already. Just unbolt the bumper brackets and slide them in the next hole back. On the rear you can remove the big bumper fillers too.
