I'm getting ready to install my windshield and back glass back into the car. I know some like the butyl tape and others like the urethane. If I use the urethane how can I get the glass to set the right depth and what is the right depth? 5/16? Any help is much appreciated

To use the urethane it takes a little practice to get everything level. If you can use the butyl it is the easiest. Make sure you have the blocks at the bottom of the windshield to hold the glass from sliding down.

I have a friend who owns a glass shop that's going to help me reinstall the glass. I just want to make sure we have the correct depth and positioning. I only want to do this once.
