Selling my 340 Ralleye car that I picked up locally last year in pretty rough shape. Car needed some attention/saving as it had seen only sporadic starting/short drives since 2009. Car is now safe, reliable and runs/drives well. Just really would prefer a 4-speed car to take to the next level. This one was/is in really solid condition(undercarriage has only light surface rust only & some original paint) as a survivor with 92K miles and lots of original parts. I have not yet posted anywhere else as I'd prefer to see it go to another E-body fan who will continue to make it better and better. ASKING PRICE is $28,000.
Overview of recent repairs/replacements during the past 14-16 months:
ENGINE COMPARTMENT:
-Nearly new Edelbrock 600cfm Carb w electric choke; fuel pump; fuel rubber lines; Power Steering Pump; New Fuel tank sending unit; radiator, hoses & fan; New Orange Ignition module from Mancini Racing; New replacement stock-type distributor & cap fm Mancini; New Spark Plugs/wires
BODY/SUSPENSION:
-about 85% of braking system(master Cyl., calipers, shoes/pads, rubber lines, etc..); Repaired upholstery as needed (interior panels/ov'hd shows some age but is not damaged/torn/missing); 2 new rear tires (225/70R14s) BF Goodrich radial TAs (fronts are OK but about 8 yrs old); Both bumpers w AMD replacement items; New rear leaf spring sets along wnew bushing/hardware; New rear sway bark bushings/hardware; Flat black hood decal;.....& LOTS, LOTS of clean-up & detail work/painting in engine bay & some body touch-up, etc...
WORK YET TO DO:
-In-dash tach/clock doesn't work
-Headlight dash switch is loose but works
-Wipers work but will not go all the way down below hood level
-Power steering unit leaks slightly at pitman arm bushing(have only added a few ounces of fluid after attending 6-10 cruises this year)
-Each door has a few(2-3) rust spots about the size of a nickel near their bottom edges(can provide pics)
-Paint overall is a 15-footer with a 2-3 cracks/scratches of about 1" long
-Rear quarters were replaced by PO during repaint
-Heater fan blows but PO removed the heater core (I have it and it holds fluid).
-A/C underdash parts are in-place and I have many of the original A/C parts that were removed fm the engine bay.
Standing by to provide additional details & pictures via PM as requested. Located in Bardstown, Ky.
