As for the '73 with strange looking outside sport style mirror, you could run down to any auto parts store, Pep Boys for sure and pick up those mirrors in black plastic mirror body or chrome, in the day. Challenger6pak has pic of a base mirror when a mirror was needed and sport mirrors were not ordered. Non-remote, drivers side only, no application available for pass. side. Thanks, Al

Hemi2c......that my friend is solely up to you. If there are no codes that you know of for your car, you can go one standard drivers, non-remote mirror, or you could look for the sport mirrors for your year car (71-74 E-body) used or whichever, chrome or body color painted. Depends how your fixing it up, restored to stock, resto mod or just your own whim. Thanks, Al

I guess so,

The previous owner has installed a passanger side mirror even though there is no G code on the vin.

So I will have to make a choice round if they made a passanger side one or sports chrome pair.

That's a tough call on a triple black car. I prefer body color, but chrome would really stand out against black and would compliment the chrome bumpers.

New repro mirrors are available as far as I know.

As was said I don't think the standard mirror was made for the passenger side.

All Cuda's/Barracudas had the wheel opening mouldings with the exception of the '70 AAR.

I was speaking of sport mirrors. Most guys I knew back in the day would toss the round mirror and add the ones like you have or buy factory sport mirrors at the dealer or swap meet. You could get them pre-painted in factory colors or chrome at the dealer.
