I'm resigned to using rear drums for now and I lost my 10" rear drums in our last move. Can I use 11" with no consequences? As long as I purchase the new pads etc. obviously.

Anything else i se I need to know or consider? I've got front disc with adjustable proportioning valve.

Thanks,

John

You should be fine, if not better, with the 11 inch drums. They will have more "grab" than the 10 inch. Re-adjust your valve and you will be ready to go.

Are the backing plates different as well? No mention was made of it so I thought I would.

Yes, it needs changed out as a complete unit per side. A good source is an older 1/2 ton van with an 8.75 in it.
