My son works at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson at the A.M.A.R.G. facility, commonly known as "The Boneyard" where military aircraft are stored. This last weekend was the 80th anniversary for A.M.A.R.G. and they had a car show that the employees could enter their cars in and family members were allowed on base to check out the facility. Josh asked me to bring the Cuda over for the show. He already considers it his car, I'm just taking care of it for him. There were no classes in the show, just judged overall, and he took 1st place! I don't mind saying, he beat a really nice early Camaro in the process!

Funny you should say that! When I was married to my first wife I had my first Cuda, a 1970 340 4sp. and we also had a 1967 Impala SS 327 AT. She hated driving the Cuda so when we split up she kept the Impala SS and I kept the Cuda.

Must be A wife and Cuda think ? When we were married she did not like driving my first 72 Cuda so we bought her this 79 Z-28 4-speed and she was so happy she has kept it all these years. I had to sell a vehicle at that time and the Cuda brought the most money so away it went. When it came time for my Cuda dream to reappear finding my dream 71 cuda was very hard and slim pickins so I found a Barracuda and made it my Cuda. We are still married my wife and my Barracuda/Cuda

When I married my wife, I had my 70 Challenger and she had a 69 Chevelle Malibu. Seems like I was always working on that damn Chevelle (Oil leaks, drum brakes, electrical, upholstery, transmission, suspension bushings, you name it)! So much so that she started driving my Challenger! Then once I built a Chevy 350 and stuck it in her Chevelle, she didn't like it because it was faster and it didn't have power disc brakes like my Challenger. So we sold the Chevelle. After a stint with a Dodge minivan, she know has her 2014 Chrysler 300 Hemi. And I still have the 70 Challenger!
