AAR resto

I remember as a kid helping my Dad work on various Mopars he owned. Occasionally he would crawl underneath to work on something and I'd wait by the car and him for when he needed a different tool. More than once I'd eventually hear snoring. Dad worked hard and probably just need a break from everything. I usually just let him sleep unless Mom came out.
NOW I know why you have that Cuda sitting so high up in the air!

Damn that looks clean! I've stood around in the garage with two fingers of Jameson and a splash of water just looking at my Cuda on more than one occasion!
I like to do it every once in a while to look at it and check out whats been done and plan the next stages out, seems to help smooth out the bumps and gives me a reason for a therapy session, 🍻

Beautiful car, and a great thread with lots of very useful information. Should you decide to go with the 6 pack, I have a Progression Ignition distributor on my little 318, it's taller than the Mopar distributor that it replaced. There is clearance, but not much under the 6 pack air cleaner base plate. You may need 90 deg boots on the leads at the cap to make the base fit nicely.

Yes, thanks, will be back to the six barrell, going to tune in the rest of the car, figured it would be easier with a proven carb that was running on it before, then I can concentrate on the 3x2 later and maybe I'll get to drive it a little this summer. (Holley 650 d.p.). I talked to progression before I bought it, they said it will fit. I tested it with the six barrell on it and air cleaner it clears, not by much and it has the 90 degree plug wires on it. Thanks for looking out I appreciate that.

well I tore this thing down in September of 2014, approaching the 2 year anniversary soon, damn time flies. I was thinking about a year, I guess next time i'll just double my estimate and should be close. . Still waiting for a response from the muffler guy, I'm sure he's busy don't want to bug him, bug I just wanna get this welded up to get in line at the ceramic coating, haven't talked to him yet so who knows what his turn over time is. He usually does pretty good but he is good at what he does so we will see.
