Also does anyone have recommendations for a front disc brake conversion?

Do a search for "Mopar Disc o Tech". There was a comprehensive article written by Richard Ehrenberg which deals with using factory parts for the swap. Off the top of my head you need to change spindles and then can use Chrysler Cordoba calipers, brackets and rotors which are available anywhere and usually cheap.

You are also converting to power brakes. Correct? Do you want used or new parts. I would recommend a new kit that uses the 1973 and up rotors. These complete kits include the rotors, Brake pads, calipers, spindles, dust shields, hoses, bearings, races, washers and castle nuts, seals, spindle caps, brake hoses, proportioning valve, power booster, disc brake master cylinder, and all nuts, bolts, cotter pins needed to do the conversion. These parts are all new, matched, and warranted. These use all of the 73 and up Mopar parts available over the counter when its time to do brakes again. We use to have to scrounge up parts from the boneyards before our cars became popular again. Adam is correct if you want to go the boneyard route but most of the parts other than the spindles, calipers(which will need rebuilding), either will have to be reconditioned or replaced so you might as well start new. You can shop for the kits online. Remember the most important safety systems on your car are the brakes and tires. Don't go cheap here. Get top quality parts even if a little more. Avoid the import rotors and bearings. This will be a good time to also replace your ball joints and bushings while the car is down for service. Here is one from P-S-T. one of our site sponsors and there are many more.

disc brakes

Thanks for the quick responses and good information. Fortunately for us, budget is not really an issue as compared to the back end benefit. We already rebuilt the entire front end during the initial rebuilding process. The drum brakes just don't get it.
Power disc is not a requirement and I took some information from another post and looked up a company called Dif Doctor. They seem to have a really nice conversion kit including the spindles.
We are also debating whether or not to go with a power steering conversion as well.
