Hope someone has seen this problem. I have a low voltage back feed from low beam to high beam headlights when only lows on. I have checked all grounds, traced all wires to make sure they are hooked up correctly, replaced floor dimmer switch and headlight switch. If I disconnect any bulb in the system (4 light setup) then this back feed disappears. When I tested for voltage I find that both leads in main lights are energized when lows on. Other than pulling the entire wire harness out does anyone know why I am getting full voltage on both contacts at low beam setting or is this a norm and if I am getting this voltage then why would the highs only glow instead of full on? When I switch to high beams they glow nice and bright. If I run the car with the lows on it kills the battery.
