I have a set of BFG Radial T/A 295/50/15. They are in great shape. No puncture holes or patches. White lettering are great and not browning. They have about 7/32 left which is about 60-64%. I don't need these anymore since I went a different route.

I don’t know how to read the date code but I’ve had them for about 8 yrs with 5000 miles on them.

That makes them too old for me. The last 4 digits of the D.O.T. code tell you the week and year of manufacture. Over 5 years old unless stored inside out of the uv and hot, dry air will cause the rubber to harden and eventually crack. It is time not miles that really matter.

Thanks for the info. Car was kept inside on jack stands. No cracks.
Lowered to $225 to get rid of them.
