Working on drivers pillar. I got it into place where it needs to be for glass/trim and aligned with the holes in the cowl side panel.

It however leaves about .5" of space between the flat section of upper cowl/firewall/top of a pillar. I was working on clamping the replacement cowl down and there's no way it can do down that much.

Passenger side is factory and fits flush.

This isn't my scenario, but wanted to make sure everyone could see what I'm talking about.

Hoping someone can measure from the upper/lower door bolt holes in side panel to the top flat face of a-pillar, and or cowl.

Here is another pic.

If I clamp the cowl down more it will be at an angle. I'm currently wondering if I can bend the a'pillar up in the inside.
