So I am at a car show yesterday before work, and a guy is walking around my 69 Roadrunner, gently picking it apart regarding what interior trim I am supposed to have, yada yada, and tells me he has this 69 GTX over there. So I am polite, walk over to his car, which is a bright yellow, with bright yellow (incorrect year one wheels and caps)...I ask him what color that is (expecting GY3, or something..he says "Yellow", no ****...
The quarters were repro'd, as were the marker lenses as they protruded from the quarter...the tips were wrong, and look under the hood, and it had a fender tag from a 68, which didn't have a vin# on it... so maybe even a 67 or below fastened with pop rivets not screws. I bit my tongue and did not point any of this out.

Rant over

You did the right thing.
In those circumstances, the less said the better.
Hope your new B-Body is doing well.
Do you miss the CUDA?

I miss the sporty look and rarety of it...was always the only one...but I'm a big guy-the 69 doesn't make me feel tight...and having a trunk that fits more than a backpack ... The RR is balls deep faster too

That's exactly why I really don't take my cars to car shows because of those goof balls.

I'm not a big fan of shows either unless there's a swap meet and then I'm all in! I could hang at swap meets all day, Mopar of course. The only local car shows I like to show one of my cars at is the CEMA show at the WPC Museum and David Radcliffs Roseville Moparts show, otherwise I like to drive them.

Check out the 69 Road Runner that Hemmings Muscle Machines profiled in the June 2016 issue.

June 2016 didn't happen yet...it's only April
Have a subscription, just got the June issue in the mail. Probably got it early
Usually the magazines are released in stores 2 months early.
Ironically, when I checked, the May 2016 issue also had a RR vert story
Seems they like Road Runners
Just thought you would enjoy the 69 RR article
