I purchased new after market cat whiskers for my door panels. I am having a terrible time trying to get them on the panels. If anyone here has installed these I would appreciate your help. Thank you!

Did you ever get an answer? Mine keeps coming off. I did not attach them originally.

Just did mine last month (classic industries) and couldn’t get them on, at first. Placed a screwdriver blade ever so gently so as not to tear up the adhesive strip in the channel, then twist every 1/2 inch or so to slightly widen the gap - then a light tap with a urethane mallet

At least that’s how I did it

As for the “keep coming off” you have to do the opposite and close the gap a bit, weather stripping adhesive may be your friend too

Hey Logger10, I had the same issues. Top Cat are great whiskers. I posted how I put them on with pictures. Check out my post under Surfcuda Top Catwhiskers🌴

Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank you all for input & ideas on mounting the door panel whiskers. Excudame, the KY helped tremendously. So here are a few photos to paint the install picture. I used the lubricant and a wooden wedge to pop them in with a rubber mallet. Also I started at the curve because there is a stop lip on the door panel on this end for placement. They went on so easily it was enjoyable! No head banging and saying WTF! The Top Catwhiskers were a bit $$, but worth every penny. These are quality Whiskers and look awesome. Again TY! 🏝

Logger10, here’s the photos. Using the wood shims and rubber mallet I avoided any damage to the Whisker Metal. Once tapped into place all the way down they fit tight, so they will never pop off on their own. Hope this helps 🌴
