cater avs dashpot

hi

Just wondering if anyone has good pic of dashpot installed? I assume it has just to screws holding it down and its installed prior to carb going on because the screws are under the car at least the most forward one is

Can you give us a little more to go on? Which year? Which engine? Help me visualize the setup, and I can better provide the data you seek.

The only dash pot I have dealt with was on my old 64 Lincoln continental.
It was held down with a small cover and one screw.
More info needed.

If you're talking about the idle up solenoid bracket, then the rear screw threads in on top and the forward screw threads in from the bottom.
