I happened on to a JH23H 1973 Challenger non Rallye car with 340, Rallye hood, standard instrument cluster, ps/pb/ac and a column shifter. I have only seen one in my life with a column shifter and that was a very plain base 6cyl. model. This is a 2-owner local car bought at local dealer and has a little over 100k miles with matching numbers engine and transmission. Any info out there on numbers of column shift Challengers?

I've not seen numbers for option breakdowns like that.

There are several AAR's and T/A's with column shifters.
Column shifters were available on all models as I understand it.

I have seen HEMI cars with column shifts. In this case I believe it all depends on what the person ordered when buying the car.

I don't know info about numbers of them built, but the first Challenger I ever owned was a 73 340 Challenger. JH23H3Bxxxxxx with column shift 727. I bought it in 1977 for $1500. Black on black with PS, PB, rallye gauges and 260 AC. 2 windows down and 60 mph.....lol.
