These are classic! I would wait until they were over before getting up and go rotate the channel dial on the 100 lb television console.

And when the tv died you were stuck with a massive cabinet that had to be kept because it housed the only stereo and record player in the home.

How about this one.
New Mustang purchased in 68.
Then the house built and purchased in 69.
Few years later the new Challenger added in 74.

Not a real scenario but could have been a commercial for new suburbia because their respective dates are correct.
