I'm buying a house and it would be helpful to sell my car to keep the payments down. This is a factory drag race car. It is not street legal. It does not have a VIN or a title. It is serial number 15 out of 50 made. They did not come with a working speedometer. These cars were the first complete, ready to race, Dodge factory drag cars since 1968. They came with a 795 horsepower, all aluminum 512 cubic inch V-10 Viper engine with stainless steel headers. I bought this car new from Bayshore Dodge in Baytown, Texas in 2011. As you can see it has the optional graphics package. These cars came ready to race with drag slicks, lightweight aluminum drag race wheels, light weight front tires, aluminum driveshaft, aluminum Strange Engineering center section in the 9" Ford 4:11 rear end, fuel cell, SFI case Powerglide transmission with very high stall converter, 4 point drivers harness, window net, drag racing shifter and double adjustable Strange Engineering front struts. This car also came with the optional roll cage.
These cars were made to run in Stock Eliminator. I had Jerry Bickle Race Cars in St Louis put tubs in the car for larger rear tires (14.5 inches wide) so now you would have to run it in Super Stock. Or of course, brackets or index. I also put in a transbrake and a delay box.
I'm guessing it has around 50 passes on it. It ran 6.16 in the 1/8th mile on its first night out and it ran 6.16 the last time I raced it. On its best night in extremely good air, it ran 5.91. The car looks as good now as when it was delivered new. Since I never raced NHRA the SFI numbers have expired. I have injured my neck. I'm sure I won't be racing it again so I might as well sell it. I will include the original 9" wide slicks and matching rear wheels and the car cover it came with. These are really wonderful cars. Located in Stuttgart, Arkansas 72160 $75,000
