crush washer

im installing the brakes on my 71 can anyone tell me if the flex hose going into th wheel cyl on the front brakes takes those cooper washers between the hose and the wheel cyl? i wouldn't think so as the hose has inverted flair but its tight and leaking. in the pics from inline tubes it does show them in their replacement kit

My 1970 Cuda required the crush washers. The washer did not come with the new hoses that I bought from Inline Tube, and the joint leaked without the crush washer. I purchased crush washers from Orielly's Auto Parts and installed them. No more leaks!

That's exactly how it played out. One side leaked while the other didn't. I got my washers from the same source, O'reillys. Thanks for you for responding.
