Dixco hood tach

I was thinking of installing one of those Dixco hood tachs on my 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. Would I be lowering the value and/or hurting resale by drilling holes in the hood for the hood tach installation?

Yes you would if it wasn't on there originally but I've always liked those.

AGREED, besides fiberglass is a lot easier to repair than steel!

If the hood is nicely finished then yes it hurts the value. If the hood will need to eventually be restored then It won't hurt the value. Easy fix when it's time.
