door locks please help

need lock rods and lock retainers missing in my car i bought. or looking for handles with old locks in them. i dont need the handle rods. there is 2 rods right?

yeah 2 rods , one to open the door & one for the lock .

I'm also looking for a left door lock rod, and are there retainers of some sort for the lock cylinders??? What holds them in place?

there is a nylon swivel retainer , similar if not the same as the truck tailgate rods up to 93

i think he is talking about the lock retainer with the 2 screws

yeah you are right , there is a unique C shaped cup that holds the lock into the handles , different L & R too

was told the back pieces were the rod hooks on the lock is differ to got the retainers from classiccars@nmax.net still need rods

Yes I need the lock cylinder retainers and the left lock rod.

These are different than a lock rod retainer (plastic clip.)

I made the door handle rods out of rods from another late model car.


The lock rods are a bit more complex to fab without the lock cylinders in place.

back piece on locks are different to. need drivers side. looking at the back of lock notch on top bend gos to the left
