Anyone know how to install the weatherstripping that runs along the top of the door panels? The pieces will not stay attached on their own, even though the originals didn't seem to have adhesive.

I've tried two different types of adhesive, without success.

Hey, did you ever have any luck?? because im having the same problem. the repops i bought from year one are freaking DIFFERENT. The channel that the panel (hey, that rhymes) is supposed to slide into. is not nearly as deep as my ratty original, and the metal "skeleton" of the piece is formed different than the original. Even if I could get it to stay on, it wont hide all of the markings the original has made over the past 41 years... I see its been ages since you made this post, and no one ever replied. I will wait a day or two to see if you answer, then im starting a new thread.. Peace out..

I had limited success. Found an adhesive that seemed to be working, then failed after a few months. So, I'm back in the boat looking for a solution.
Talked to a guy at SEMA last fall. He had beautiful reproduction door panels with the weatherstriping installed from the manufacturer. I think they were from Dante's Mopar Car Parts. Just sent a note to them to feel them out. sales@dantesparts.com
