Have an Edelbrok AVS with electric choke. Where are the best positive and negative connecting points for the choke?

I’ve read so far ballast resistor or wiper motor for positive side, but looking for best practice.

Thanks

Ignition 1 in the engine harness, dark blue wire. Can be found at the ballast resistor, voltage regulator, one of the alternator field wires, idle solenoid and/or distributor solenoid on some models.

Ballast resistor for positive and any close bolt on the intake, coil bracket, carb for the ground.

Here's my choke connection setup using a double male/single female piggyback terminal.

Wish I could help you sourcing it in the US. My options were the electronics store in my city but theirs came in a package of 10, and this package of 2 from the Canadian Tire Store.

I have a box full of those connectors that I picked up somewhere. Work great on electronic ignition conversions as well!

I used the Ballast resistor for mine
