I have a 71 challenger and need to put new emergency cables on my car but unsure which to get. My car did not have any cables when I got it so I do not have anything other than the 2 cables coming off the rear drum brakes. My question is, do I get the cables without the intermediate cable, or with the intermediate cable? I see both kits online. I have 3" exhaust under the car, so things will be tight if that is an issue. Any help would be great.

71-74 all used 4 cables , 2 from each drum , the front one from the pedal & the intermediate cable , you also need the adjuster rod from the right side & the support rod from the trans mount , I would buy from Dave @ Roseville , most cable kits are the wrong length or have the wrong ball size on the cable ends , also Cuda cables are shorter as the wheelbase is shorter Dave should know where to get the correct length cables on the first try .
