I try to get everything period correct on my restorations, but this is my first 383 big block install. I'm almost ready for fluids and start up but when I pre-fit my dual snorkel air filter I could see I was missing the heat stove and tube. Not much info on an install for this, but it appears it bolts to the driver side exhaust manifold. When I had the date correct motor built this never came up and thus I have a newer manifold without the stud threads needed. I looked around and could see different new manifolds some with but most without the threads.

any suggestions for an install without the threaded manifold studs? Any one else run into this?

Is selling a manifold with threaded holes that you can put a stud in. The correct one. I believe you have the early version if it has no casting for the studs.
