Exterior trim etc.

To my helpful friends-

I have a 71 Challenger R/T 340 4 Barrel 4 speed.
When I bought the car it had three paint jobs on it. Originally it was Winchester Grey with a black vinyl top. When I got it it was red and vinyl top was removed. My question relates to the trim- it had chrome Challenger and R/T badges on each side of the front fenders. The grille is argent with chrome trim on the leading edge.
1) Are these correct?
2) Would this type of trim be confirmed on the fender tag? I do not have the build sheet.
3) Is there a distinction on the fender tag for a car with R/T stripe decal?
4) I cannot find trim for the vinyl top. Any suggestions?

Can anyone advise me?

Hey Joe, it is quite common to see the vinyl top trim on ebay. There is one guy out of Capac, MI that specializes in Challenger trim and another out of Belding, MI that does too, both sell on Ebay. There is a book that I have found to be very helpful with options and accessories that were avaliable for these cars, "Challenger and Baracuda Restoration guide 1967-74" also avaliable on Ebay. It is written by Paul Herd and is published by Motorbooks Workshop.
