71 Challenger Where does it go threw the firewall and what color? Thanks

On the engine side it comes from the bulkhead connector and runs to the negative side of the coil. It is gray, or gray with a black tracer. From looking at a diagram I think it’s #20 but it will likely be the only unaccounted for wire you have.

This is a useful link to save, or remember... the Challenger schematic does not show the tach wire to the bulkhead, but the Cuda does, and its the same.

I think I can get it from that info. The wire was cut for an aftermarket tach. Thanks

Tach wire was missing at the bulkhead. Ran a new one and the tach lit up and works great so I removed the old Dixco off the column
