As part of me restoring my 73 Challenger I bought a lot of car parts off of a 73 Challenger that was stripped. I which a have a lot of parts...... I have the dash VIN still attached to the dash and the fender tag. Does anyone ever look for these when trying to restorage challenge in which his lacking them. It was a basic challenger Thanks Dan

well, yes.
If anyone ever buys the original challenger all the parts came off of, they will typically look for their tags again.
I specifically look for e body tags to purchase as I am a collector of factory documentations. Tags naturally fall in line with factory documentation. Broadcast sheets, monroney reports(window sticker), order forms, actual factory "build sheets", fender tags, vin tags, inspection tags, door stickers. Anything factory.

I have successfully returned a B body tag and a few C body tags back to their owners after they looked for them and found a post that I made that had their vin numbers in it. Even though I purchased the tags I returned, I returned them for free.

I basically got all the stuffed that was stripped from the car doors, hood, fenders, all the interior, dash everything. The shell of the car was sent to the scrap yard, he said it was beyond repair. So other than many of the parts on my car came from that car. And I've been selling the rest. So maybe I should hold on to it as to this is where I got the parts from??

Since the donor car has been crushed, I'd keep the dash VIN and Fender tag and put them on a wooden plack and hang it in your garage for a momento of where your 73 Challenger got a lot of its parts. 🙂
